Short Stories: My favorite method of consumption of quick-paced, perfect dread is the short story. I think the panning of the genre as somehow inferior to the novel is a massive mistake, but especially in the context of horror, and it is to my great chagrin that short story collections are considered uncommercial or do not sell. A good short horror story is like shooting rocket fuel.
